Rushers from around the globe gathered in Los Angeles to see nostalgic boyband Big Time Rush perform classic hits like ‘Boyfriend,’ ‘Windows Down,’ and ‘City is Ours.’
Big Time Rush brought their ‘Forever Tour’ to Los Angeles’ YouTube Theater on Wednesday.
Spencer Sutherland took to the stage before Big Time Rush. Sutherland energetically entertained the audience with his smooth vocals and romantic dance moves. By his second song the energy from the crowd was less engaging, yet Sutherland kept his efforts going and had reeled everyone back in by the last song.

After a quick set change, Big Time Rush’s dramatic entrance had begun. The band opened with one of their later hits, ‘Windows Down.’ The high energy song showed the crowd what their evening had in store and everyone was excited.

Sticking to their boyband roots, BTR had organized choreography routines. The audience was delighted to sing a long to every original BTR song from the early 2010s. The band did a great job of mixing in a few new releases while sticking to what the people came for – reliving their childhood.

As their ‘Worldwide Girl’ tradition holds, each member selected a girl from the audience to bring on stage to be sung to. Los Angeles fans were met with a special surprise when Katelyn Tarver (Kendall’s on-screen girlfriend) was selected to be Kendall’s WWG.
After a short break to allow for encore chants, Big Time Rush appeared in matching tour t-shirts to perform likely their biggest hits, ‘Big Time Rush’ and ‘Boyfriend.’ During ‘Boyfriend,’ each member ripped off their shirt which was thoroughly enjoyable for the audience!
Overall, the Big Time Rush Forever Tour was not one to miss. Through it wraps up next week, we are excited to see what the band does next!
