CALL MOM, Olivia O’BRIEN PLAYED THE FONDA

Olivia O’Brien graced The Fonda stage with an unforgettable performance.

As Olivia O’Brien took the stage, she didn’t start out the night with a song. Instead, an announcer introduced the night’s host, special performance, prize packages, and drinks and light refreshments, all to the theme of her latest EP, Episodes: Season 1. Olivia thanked her opening performers before jumping into We’re All Gonna Die.

O’Brien talked about previous shows as she performed older songs such as Almost In Love, Tequilawine, and Just Friends. Fans in the audience sang along to every word as if the songs had just been released.

Two intermissions allowed for outfit changes and a request for tequila to be brought to stage. During the intermissions, behind the scenes footage playing on screen to keep the audience entertained.

Olivia rocked an all white outfit during her final set where she performed NOW followed by two unreleased songs: Bitch Back and What Are We. Bitch Back was teased on TikTok earlier this year and it is clear fans are excited for its release.

O’Brien noted how special her next song, Call Mom, was to this particular night. After many performances as an opener at The Fonda in Hollywood, she had her own headlining show. The crowd could see her inner satisfaction as she sang “I’m crying backstage but I’m playing The Fonda.”

After the slower ballad came to an end, she closed the night with a cover of Ke$ha’s Your Love is My Drug and newest release No More Friends.

Fans weren’t quite ready to go home yet as they chanted for an encore performance. Olivia O’Brien took the stage for performances of arguably her most popular songs, Hate U Love U and Josslyn. Truly an incredible night from multi-talented host, guest performer, special guest, Olivia O’Brien.
