Scottish singer-songwriter Nina Nesbitt headlined the Roxy on her “The Sun Will Come Up” tour.
Starting the night with the first song off her album, “Sacred,” Nina Nesbitt had the crowd entranced with her somber voice yet hopeful lyrics.
Later in the set, Charlotte Lawerence joined Nina on stage to perform “Psychopath,” a song the two recorded at Spotify Studios with Sasha Sloan.
The second half of Nina’s set was her acoustic portion. Two of her bigger songs, “The Best You Had,” followed by “Somebody Special” were beautiful performed acoustically. “Somebody Special” was said to be the last song, but the crowd didn’t have to wait long for an encore. An additional acoustic song was added, a cover of Britney Spears’ “Toxic.”
The last song of the night was an upbeat, “Loyal to Me” which had the audience dancing and singing along.
“The Sun Will Come Up” American tour is ending soon, but Nina isn’t an act to miss out on. Take a listen to her newest album here.
