Ivy Adara’s Leap into Music

Ivy Adara’s Intraduction EP released in early October. Since then, her songs have been praised on Spotify and Apple Music.

From a young age, Ivy could feel music in her bones.

“Music was something that I just DID. I was the kind of kid who couldn’t take 2 steps without her walkman or iPod. I can’t even tell you why. It was always apart of me & I always knew that no matter where I went in life, music was going to be a part of it.”

Luckily, she has always had supportive family and friends to help her along the way.

“I feel like I have a whole army of people back home who are waving my flag so high, all the damn time. They keep me sane. I wouldn’t be ME without them, and I wouldn’t be here without them.”

With a growing career, it was only a matter of time before we got to hear Ivy Adara’s hits. Her new EP, Intraduction, is full of them. Ivy tells us her favorite moment when putting the EP together.

“On one of the tracks “Lies” I got to collaborate with a producer who I’ve been wanting to work with FOREVER.. He normally works with people like The Weekend, Katy Perry, Rihanna etc… So I was pretty stoked about that.”

This producer isn’t the only person Ivy has been working with. Many talented artists helped her put the EP together, and they all had important advice.

“The resounding message that comes from all these artists is to just simply be honest. Be vulnerable, be you.”

Clearly Ivy’s hard work has paid off. Intraduction has been recieving Best of the Week mentions, streaming on top Spotify playlists, and have over 1 million listens on Spotify.

“Can’t… Even… Explain. I’m still just a little songwriting geek who sits in my bedroom most nights, so it’s just crazy that so many people are getting the opportunity to listen to my songs!”

As Ivy Adara’s music continues to flourish, her goals are growing too. Tonight asked what her top goal is.

“SO MANY TOP GOALS. This is a hard question. One of the most important things to me and one of the things I can’t wait for is to actually meet the people who listen to my music. Who share the same stories. Who I know on social media… but I can’t wait to meet them in person.”

Ivy’s music video for Callgirl is releasing soon, but in the mean time you can listen to it and the rest of Intraduction HERE.
