Australian Artist Didirri is bound to blow you away at one of his fall or winter shows.
Falling for Didirri’s music is definitely not a challenge. His calming voice makes the audience sway in coherence with his message.
Didirri describes his music in three perfect words:
“Small-minded wisdom.”
Every song tells an emotionally raw story and you can hear the passion in his voice as he tells them.
“I definitely like to write with a basis in reality. Most the the time this consists of my own story but quite often I will reflect on someone else’s journey, And try and write in a way that sums up the lesson learned from others mistakes or challenges. There is definitely a pursuit of truth within my work. I am yet to work out what kind of truth that is.”

Didirri is continuously learning and evolving his craft.
“I hope I never change, I hope I stay constantly changing. My only goal really is to continue to explore my own head musically and to help people find happiness in any way possible. I know that sounds like some hippy bullshit but it really is I think the purpose of life.”
Paving his path into music came naturally with his powerful story telling abilities.
“I don’t think I am particularly good at anything other than telling a story. It just so happens to be a musical one and it just happens to be my own. At some stage, you just have to face the reality of your skills. I am good at communicating how I feel and think.”
It’s clear that people are relating to these stories well.
“Sometimes you can get caught up in wondering whether you are doing a good thing, you have to remind yourself, every time someone tells you that it made a difference in their life, that you are on a worthwhile pursuit.”
Didirri has a simple message for those just learning about his music.
“I hope you find as much joy in listening to my music as I did making it, I’ve made all of this for lovers and over-thinkers, both of which I am at a simultaneous point in my life.”
We highly recommend checking out Didirri’s shows in LA at Hotel Cafe or with SoFar Sounds, but if you can’t make it to an LA show, there are plenty of other stops to catch him at!
